Wedding Invitation Design

Did you know that I am also a designer?? Yep, it's true! I am currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in Industrial Design (aka product design). So in the middle of all the picture taking good times, I like to mix it up with a little design project. Lately, that design has revolved more around the computer screen than anything else. I designed a friend's blog a while back, and more recently a wedding invitation. I had so much fun with both of these! Here is the invite for you to check out.

Nancy + Jeff: Longshadow Ranch Wedding

Ok people...this wedding is the definition of FAIRY TALE! But before I get into that, let me give a huge thank you to Jenn of Jenn King Photography for allowing me to join her and Will for this perfect day. And really it was pretty perfect, with such a gorgeous location, beautiful bride and groom and amazing details. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking from here :)

Benson Boys (A Family Portrait Preview)

Sunny Sisters

The wind was blowing, the sun was shining, and I had a sister by my side! So we decided to snap a few shots of each other. I love the sunny backlit kind of pictures.

Evelyn is so lucky to have the daddy that she does. He absolutely adores her and it fills me up with joy to see them together! I love how he wants to show her off to everyone at any chance he gets. And how every time he comes home from work he is shocked by how much she changed and learned. I love them both so much and just wanted to do a little something to wish my love a:

DeMille Family Awesomeness

Right before I headed to the park to do this portrait session with the DeMille's, I thought...it would be kinda fun to bring some random props. I was at my parent's house and they have 20+ years worth of halloween costumes, so I stuffed a bag full of the most ridiculous ones and went on my way. I had no idea whether this family was the type to go for something like that, but luckily they WERE!
