Happy Daddy Day!

Evelyn is so lucky to have the daddy that she does. He absolutely adores her and it fills me up with joy to see them together! I love how he wants to show her off to everyone at any chance he gets. DeMille Family Awesomeness

Right before I headed to the park to do this portrait session with the DeMille's, I thought...it would be kinda fun to bring some random props. I was at my parent's house and they have 20+ years worth of halloween costumes, so I stuffed a bag full of the most ridiculous ones and went on my way. I had no idea whether this family was the type to go for something like that, but luckily they WERE! Melissa & Nick Engagements

I have been sooo excited to share the pictures from Melissa and Nick's engagement session. They were awesome to work with and SO photogenic! I couldn't have asked for a more laid back and happy couple to work with. We walked around their hometown of San Dimas, and I have to say that I'll definitely be going back.

Darci & Chase Engagement Session

Darci and Chase rocked out Old Towne Orange for their engagement session. I am so glad they decided on this location, it was inspiration at every glance! I am really looking forward to their July wedding, congrats you two!

Sometimes I get crazy ideas. And when I'm really lucky, I also get two people awesome enough to put up with me while I execute it :) I planned this whole thing on paper before we even began the shoot; I'm glad it came out pretty close to how I imagined it. So here you go, enjoy!

My Best Friend's Birthday

In my eyes, this guy is the best. Best guitarist and song-writer, best pilot, best language learner (the guy learned Portuguese for fun in like, one month!), he has the best personality, so full of empathy and compassion, and he is the very best at loving me and Evie. I am so glad we could become BEST friends even before we were dating!
Today is the day I get to celebrate him and all the joy he has brought to my life! I'm so lucky to be married to someone who supports by dreams and adds his alongside. I know he will continue to do great things. Just looking at the past year, it's hard to believe where we have been and how much he has accomplished. Keep up the good work Mikey! I love you and I hope your birthday is as awesome as you are!
