I've been dying to share Lindsay and Spencer's engagement pictures with you all! Paige of Paige + Blake Green Photography asked me to be her second shooter and I couldn't have been more thrilled. Here are some of my shots from that beautiful afternoon!

When I scheduled this family for a morning-time shoot, I was a little worried about how the lighting would be. You never know if it's going to be super overcast, or super sunny! But everything turned out wonderfully; I was sooo pleased with the gorgeous morning sun.
I want a cookie!!! Mmmm...that's better.
Thank you to the beautiful Jenks family!! It was a lot of fun to shoot for you guys.

My sisters are the coolest! And not just for putting up with my random photo shoots.
Back story: Before my sister (in the flowing blue gown) went away to college I wanted to take some funny pictures of all the girls. This room in my parent's house was decorated in the 90's but with 70's flair. It makes me smile every time I see that eucalyptus leaf couch and I HAD to design a creative shoot around it. My sisters and I scavenged for some clothes that fit the era and got to work. I love how silly the pictures turned out!
In celebration of receiving Adobe's Lightroom 3 in the mail today, I have created this post. First of all, I'd been using the free trial while I waited for this package to arrive and it seems like it took an eternity (isn't it always that way when you're sooo excited to get something?).
The following picture was given to me with the question: what can you do to this image? I took the jpeg from iphoto and worked some lightroom magic. I love how it turned out, bright with a vintage cross processed feel.
Remember these kids? Here is the whole gang for some Demke-style family photos! We wanted to do a super casual session with a regular day-to-day vibe. Everyone just wore their normal clothes and we snapped pics in the back yard. Can you believe that GIANT squash from their garden? So amazing.
